NAVAJA  Extrema Ratio FULCRUM II D

This model is the evolution of the Fulcrum Folder (out of production since 2005), the first folding knife produced by Extrema Ratio according to the specifics of an Italian anti-terrorism unit.
an extremely strong blade that could be used as a lever;
structure comparable to a fixed blade;
an ultra secure blade lock;
a knife that could be carried in pistol's magazine pocket.

The Fulcrum II is basically identical to its predecessor, the only variations are the addition of a reversible clip, the appearance of a partially lowered surface on the handle which improves the ergonomics and facilitates the use of the opening "pin".

A manual security lock which works on the lever mechanism "back lock" thus preventing the blade block being removed accidentally during energetic use. This lock can also be used when the knife is closed to prevent the knife being opened if taken without authorisation.

In this case the knife cannot be opened even if the mechanism is often irrevocably damaged.

The dorsal blade, with a flat grinding, offers a comfortable resting point for the thumb. The tang, in tempered steel, is efficacious for breaking glass and is provided with a hole for fixing on a security lace.

An interesting alternative to a pistol's magazine.
